Postcards are a great way to keep in touch with customers and cut through the jumble of e-communications. They are perfect if your budget is limited, and with our mailing options we can save you considerable amounts on postage for orders of 500 or more postcards.
Traditionally, postcards are A6 in size or thereabouts (one quarter of an A4 sheet) but under Royal Mail sizing guidelines, you can send A5 types for the same postage rate. If you have a lot to say, or just want to stand out even more from the crowd, larger postcards are a good way to do this.
The reverse side can be printed in full colour or black only, but since we produce all of our work on colour presses it costs no more to have full colour on the reverse than black only.
Choose from A6, A5, one-third A4 (99mm × 210mm) or 148mm square. Materials include:
300gsm kraft for a distinctive look and feel
325gsm uncoated, recycled card for environmentally-conscious applications, which is also easy to write on
400gsm uncoated card, which is easy to write on with any kind of pen
400gsm silk card, which gives a slightly shiny finish but which is harder to write on. This type of card can have a gloss laminate applied to one side if desired, further enhancing the look of the finished postcard.
For orders of 500 or more postcards that need to be posted out, we can provide a complete mailing service in-house. You can supply a mailing list in Excel or other database format, and we can clean the data, print it on to your postcards and send them via first or second class post. Our access to Royal Mail's business pricing means we can save you a substantial amount over posting them with stamps or even franking.
Please get in touch to discuss your mailing needs and we will be happy to talk through the options.
Postcards are usually supplied within 5 working days of order confirmation.

Postcards are standard rated for VAT. Our mailing fulfilment service is also standard-rated, including the postage element, so if you are not VAT-registered it will most likely be cheaper to post the cards yourself using stamps, which are not subject to VAT.
